Finances of Operating Public Charities, 1989-1995 (Working Paper)

This working paper examines the finances of operating public charities for the 1989 to 1995 period. The paper provides many detailed tables by major NTEE category on trends and the financial stability of these organizations.

The analysis used data from the NCCS Core files recompiled into fiscal year files. Missing data was imputed.

A detailed technical appendix explaining the methodology and addressing questions about the quality of the data is also available.
