How was the information for this resource database collected?

Serve DC conducted a resource mapping project with the Urban Institute to discover the resources, especially within wards 5, 6, 7, and 8 for: current military, veterans and their families, individuals with HIV or AIDs, and children with disabilities. The information for this database was collected through in person interviews, phone interviews, and online research.

What is the purpose of this database?

The purpose of this database is to connect community members to resources available in the District of Columbia; as well as connect organization to other organizations.

How do I add my organization to your site?

a. If you feel that your organization should be added to this resource directory please send the following information to servedc.resource.map@gmail.com:

  • Name of organization
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • website and email (if available)
  • Services provided
  • eligibility requirements for accessing services
  • A contact person for Serve DC to follow up with including contact information

How do I update or change my organizations information?
