That didn't stop us from attempting to put out today's edition of NPTalk, following up on the subject of online publishing. Last May, we published a small list of places where you could learn about other discussion lists, as well as distribute information about your discussion and electronic mailing lists, listservs, e-zines, and e-newsletters, as well as list hosting services. At the time, we were remiss in pointing out that the now commonly-used term "listserv" refers, in fact, to the original e-mail list hosting software (called LISTSERV) first introduced in 1986. Now, just about any electronic discussion list is called a "listserv". Roughly fourteen years later, the list (sorry!) of available resources in this area has, of course, grown, so we thought it was time for an update of what we know to be available, based on your input.
