Lisa Nachmias Davis, Esq., wrote to CharityLaw on June 1, 1998: I am President and and on the Board of the Legal Center for Connecticut Nonprofit Organization, a privately funded organization that matches financially needy 501(c)(3) organizations or would-be organizations, with volunteer attorneys willing to provide services on a pro bono basis, and for whom we provide malpractice coverage. Accepting a case from the Legal Center may entitle the
volunteer attorney to pro bono "credit" from the Connecticut Bar Association.
